Different access to Omoluorogbo
Omoluorogbo grammar school Akure, is a well known secondary school in Akure Ondo state,Nigeria
For those who attended Omoluorogbo school Akure in 90s will always have the memories of these two illegal arena within the school compound called.. GOLDEN-GATE!! AND ABURI!!.Though,the name will always sound so interesting in the mind of the students of these areas .But Scary to those who were obedient to the rules and regulations of the school.
Golden-Gate and Aburi were two different arenas for Omoluorogbo students!.If you were disobedient to the rules and regulations of the school, then you must be familiar with these names.
Aburi is mainly for the latecomers, short roads to the school if you don't want to pass through school main gate or get caught, quick run to exit. It was a barb-wire fence far from administrative and teacher's offices.
Golden-Gate is on North-side of the School property. It was about a kilometre walking distance to the school's front gate. There is an Anglican Church building at the Golden-Gate.
At this Arena you have your heart beats a little when you hear about what had happened or what will happen over there because Golden-Gate is where students hide in order to carry out some unauthorized activities during or after the school hours. Also it has its fun parts such as: playing football (Soccer) , Volleyball, hanging out with friends, catch up with assignments and hunger quench like plunging mango that has it branches crossed from a resident to the school etc.
Furthermore, most of the time ,student who failed to come to school early to partake in assembly gathering (Praise, and worship ,prayer and information given out by teachers to students before the commencement of lectures) used Golden-Gate to gain entrance into the school premises to avoid punishment from the teachers,seniors and the school authority while the school main gain is locked. There were other reasons why students sneak into the school premises illegally back then:
(1)Students wearing slippers to the school to avoid the wrath of school management
(2) Students wearing unauthorized cloth, dirty school uniform or poor personal hygiene
It can be said that most students' lives must have passed through the Golden- Gate and one of so many Aburis during the academic tenure in the school as there were more than one Aburis for each level of class in the school ( Junior Level and senior Level).

Omoluorogbo Grammar School is a secondary school located in Akure, south west Nigeria. We are the set of 1999/2000 and we are getting together once again after 20 years. We are old students of OGSA but on April 19th of 2020, Mr. Abiodun Babatunde (White House) brought us together by creating a whatsapp group. The union is made-up of three distinguished classes ; Science , Art and Commercial .We aim at Networking same career people ,to develop a better way of making their job better sharing career tools. We looking forward to extend our help to the school. We are also planning a big reunion party coming up December 2020. Please stroll down to see our wonderful goals and objectives.

The OGSA 1999/2000 Alumni Association is a united,dynamics and diverse organisation whose mission is to serve and add value to the school,its students,fellow alumni,local chapter and friends of the association.

Our Objectives and Goals
- To foster unity among members
- Morally develop and educationally encourage ourselves
- Socially and mentally help inculcate moral and education-minded discipline in the students of OGSA
- To discuss various opportunities among us which could be of great help and advantages for members of the group
- Assist some vulnerable-school-dropout attain academic heights in life
- Help create a conducive learning atmosphere for the school
- To help and rally round member that have ambitions in various aspects of life e.g politics
- To make impact on the organization (the school that brought us together 20 years ago) by donating to it. It could be cash or in kind e.g donations of writing materials to the school etc
- To help build and equip the school to standard taste for conducive learning environment
- Creating a forum to help motivating the students in a little way we can
- Creating awareness among the students about various issues that could affect their futures e.g HIV awareness, drug abuse awareness, Sex orientation awareness etc
- Creating a form of Quiz for the students in which the name and picture of the winner will be posted on all our social media accounts
- Also encourage five best academic students with grants and extra curricullar activitivies payments,

- President and Executives MUST consent with any meetings relating to the group.
- No posting of junk messages on the group platform.
- MUST be open to compromises in order to reach common goals.
